Terms and Conditions for "Interest-free Instalment Plan"

• Eligibility for the Instalment Plan
  • You are eligible to apply for the Interest-free Instalment Plan ("Instalment Plan") only if you hold a designated personal credit card ("Card") issued by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited ("The Bank"), whether a primary or an additional credit card. However, the Instalment Plan is not available to a US$ Visa Gold Card, an undergraduate credit card, a private label card or a UnionPay Dual Currency or UnionPay Dual Currency Diamond credit card.
  • The Instalment Plan is provided subject to these Terms and Conditions and the Cardholder Agreement. By applying for the Instalment Plan by any means, you are considered to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and the Cardholder Agreement in full and will be bound by them.
  • You should ensure that the total of all outstanding balance in your Card Account (including all unbilled balance) and all payable handling fees does not exceed the approved credit limit of your Card Account at any time.
  • The Bank will decide whether to approve your application for the Instalment Plan having regard to the status and repayment history of your Card Account. The Bank has the right to approve or reject your application and to suspend or terminate the Instalment Plan without any given reason or prior notice. The Bank have the final decision on all matters and disputes relating to the Instalment Plan.
  • For all repayments, and any administrative fees or interests related to cancellation or early repayments, please refer to the terms and conditions issued by the Bank.
• Scope and operation
  • Only transactions effected with a Card qualify for the Instalment Plan. Qualified transactions include the following:
    • Purchase of brand new Whirlpool appliance, WPro product care series or Whirlpool accessories on our official website www.whirlpool.com.hk . The total value of each transaction must be at least HK$1,500.
    • An application for the Instalment Plan must be for at least HK$1,500 and may cover one or more items purchase transactions effected using a Card.
  • Other transactions do not qualify include the following:
    • Purchase of display products on our official website www.whirlpool.com.hk . If you would like to purchase both new and display products, please separate into two transactions.
    • The total value of each transaction less than HK$1,500.
    • Payments for service fees and charges, including but not limited to installation fees, repair and maintenance fees, spare parts, disposal fees, delivery fees, air conditioning cleaning fee, maintenance contract & warranty renewal fee.
    • Purchase of Whirlpool products or service at any authorized dealers or stores.
• Variation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Whirlpool (Hong Kong) Limited / Consumer Appliances Service Limited and the Bank reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate the special offer at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice.
  • In case of any dispute, Whirlpool (Hong Kong) Limited / Consumer Appliances Service Limited reserves the rights of final decision.

NOTE: In case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall apply and prevail.
